Pride 2021 is unlike any Pride we have experienced before. We are beginning to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic slowly and acknowledging the aftermath one year later of the global reckoning on racial justice following the deaths of George Floyd and so many other Black and Brown people. Pride this year must center our activism and intentional approach to understanding the intersectionality of the LGBTQ movement and our connection to all diverse populations. We must work to ensure all members of our community feel welcome.
