Jennifer Bing she / her / hers

Vice President of Advancement

Jennifer Bing is NCLR’s Vice President of Advancement and oversees the cultivation and mobilization of support from individual donors, corporations, foundations and other institutions that share NCLR’s vision.
Jennifer brings more thank 25 years of development and nonprofit leadership experience. Her long-standing relationship with NCLR includes creating and producing our fabulous NCLR Anniversary Celebration for the past decade, serving in various interim roles throughout the years and supporting NCLR as an Anniversary Circle member since 2005. Since 2004, Jennifer has operated her own fundraising consulting and event production company, Bing Consulting Services (BCS), working with many of NCLR’s partners and supporters in the community. BCS works with local and national LGBTQ organizations, and organizations working in the areas of human rights, progressive housing, health and HIV work.
Jennifer is a career nonprofit professional, starting at the YMCA of San Francisco a week after she moved to San Francisco fresh out of college. She received her MPA from San Francisco State while working on behalf of HIV positive youth in San Francisco and brings this passion for justice, equity and opportunity for all to everything she does. After the adoption of her oldest (of three!) sons, she committed her personal work to youth in foster care and spends any extra bandwidth supporting her criminal justice reform activist wife in her work.  A product of Buffalo New York, Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University.
