Dom Brassey

Dom Brassey (she/they) is a San Francisco Bay Area-based brand builder currently growing developer adoption for Mapbox, a DC-based live location platform powering spatial analytics, navigation, and location-based experiences for mobile, web, and auto.
Dom’s life as a queer/LGBTQ+ person has been transformed by the pioneering work of NCLR. In 2015-2016, Dom toured the United States with Saint Harridan as a gender-nonconforming menswear entrepreneur after the historic defeat of DOMA. In 2016-2017, she accepted an Edie Windsor Coding Scholarship and joined the Lesbians Who Tech community as VP Growth, expanding the network from 25,000 to 50,000 global members while coordinating inclusion summits in tech ecosystems across the U.S. with Tech Jobs Tour.
Previously, Dom taught writing and communication workshops and courses inside prison and juvenile detention facilities, and completed the 500 Startups incubator program with Batch 14. She currently facilitates Women in Management groups at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and joined the NCLR board of directors in 2019.
